Cow Signals with Hazell Mullins
We are delighted to offer Cow Signals training in partnership with Macra Skillnet.
This training will be delivered by Hazell Mullins, Vet and Dairy Farmer, and will teach farmers to observe, interpret, and respond to cow behaviour and environmental cues to improve health, welfare, and productivity.
The training day will typically cover assessing cow comfort and welfare, understanding the six freedoms (feed, water, light, air, rest, space), improving housing and handling, and using checklists to implement practical solutions that reduce disease and prolong a cow’s lifespan.
